Weathernews invited a number of guests from our extensive UK client base to join us at our table and as well as enjoying a most pleasant evening in the beautiful oak-panelled “Long Room” guests were entertained by the after-dinner speaking of former England cricket team captain David Gower.

In addition to raising money through the event and a charity auction and other activities, the dinner was intended to further raise awareness of the work which the Sailors’ Society does around the world in providing support to seafarers.

At the heart of Weathernews’ Total Fleet Management Service is the support to ship masters and crew in ensuring safe passage on voyages across the world, as well as providing voyage optimisation and a reduction in fuel consumption and emissions.
