On Thursday, September 24, a Total Fleet Management Service (TFMS) Seminar entitled “Eco”-Routeing was held at Grange. St. Paul’s Hotel in London.
As the marine shipping industry seeks to improve Voyage Management , combining safety with economy and reduction of environmental impact, Voyage Planning based on mutual trust through visibility and transparency is needed. This seminar was held in order for the Shipping Industry to share the various issues that it faces when working toward this goal.
Participants included 55 people from 35 shipping companies involved in the European tramper market, ship charterers, ship owners and legal experts, - all of whom actively traded opinions, ideas and issues.
