More and more, the shipping industry is faced with the challenge of making the environment a priority. Reducing environmental impact will be regarded as a critical aspect of fleet management, along with safety and cost management.

Here at Weathernews, we recognize the importance of the environmental challenges we face and aspire to include emission management as part of our core Voyage Planning service. Working together with our shipping company partners, we will meet the challenge.

To pursue the initiative toward emission management, we invite everyone to use our 2009 TFMS Seminar as a place to exchange information and ideas. To elaborate on this we have Dr. Hiromitsu Kitagawa as our keynote speaker to present his recent study “Emission Management for Global Logistics”.
