Weathernews & Hoegh Autoliners Introduce a Real-Time Display System to Monitor Ship Operations

Hoegh Autoliners A/S (Hoegh) has been a customer of Weathernews Inc. for more than 5 years and both companies cooperate closely to ensure a safe and efficient operation for all operated vessels.

On the 12th December 2009, Hoegh Autoliners was delighted to receive FMS.Globe from Weathernews and for it to be installed in the reception area of Hoegh’s Corporate Head office in Oslo, Norway.

The installation of FMS.Globe symbolizes the strong relationship between the two companies and their commitment to vessel safety.

The FMS.Globe takes various data from Weathernews, provides real-time positions and tracks of all vessels and the latest global weather information including atmospheric pressure, typhoons, tidal currents, seawater temperature, and clouds.

Weathernews looks forward to working with Hoegh on safety, efficiency and emission savings.
